Taskforce on Nature-related Finacial Disclosures
Recently, in the international community, nature has been emerging as a major agenda since the climate change, which is a major global crisis*with the sustainability of the company and the goal of ESG, and the demand for systematic response measures has been steadily increasing. In particular, more than half of the economic production is natural dependent, and the recognition is that corporate activity worsens the ecosystem and loss of natural capital is leading to the financial risk of the company. In addition, CBD requires large companies, multinational companies, and finance to monitor, evaluate, evaluate, and disclose the results in the battery -based diversity strategy (GBF).
* 1) Failure to ease and adapt to climate change at future global risks, 2) abnormal climate and natural disasters, 3) loss of biodiversity and collapse of ecosystems, 4) involuntary migration, 5) natural resource crisis (WEF (World Economic Forum) , The Global Risks Report, 2023)
TNFD was established to provide the standards and procedures that must be observed when disclosing the information of corporate and financial institutions on the risks and opportunities of natural capital*(June 2021.), and investors are more for natural issues through the TNFD recommendation. It is aimed to provide a method for the organization to disclose natural issues in response to the demand for information and to meet the standard value of global sustainability and the existing and new regulatory requirements.
* Natural Capital: The loss of capital of nature, such as flora, air, air, soil, mineral, and other natural natural, natural ecosystems, and biodiversity, which is a human being, will eventually become economic threats.
